Job summary

Renaissance Personnel Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced HR Manager to independently own and build out its full HR function on-site. This is a hands-on, mission-driven role where you will lead recruiting, manage employee relations, and ensure robust HR documentation.

You will onboard new employees, maintain compliance documentation for state audits, and drive HR process improvements as the organization grows. Join a close-knit team with real room to shape HR practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience independently owning a full HR function.
• Background in human services, developmental disabilities, regulated healthcare, home health or behavioral health
• Working knowledge of Arizona employment law
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent documentation discipline
• Self-managed and proactive
• Excellent communication and employee-relations skills
• Comfortable and effective in a close-knit, all-hands team culture

Responsibilities

• Manage the full HR function as the organization's HR leader
• Lead recruiting efforts for ongoing openings
• Manage employee relations, performance management, and HR documentation
• Onboarding of new employees
• Maintain compliance documentation to meet state audit requirements
• Track and process employee certification renewals and training documentation
• Create and maintain HR SOPs and drive process improvements
• Assess and help transition HR records from paper toward paperless within the existing HRIS
