You will manage full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, HR documentation, payroll support, and HR reporting. The role requires strong discretion and comfort in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience
• Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations and HR administration
• Hands-on payroll experience required
• Knowledge of New York employment laws and HR best practices
• Experience administering employee benefits and leave programs
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer support
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and new hire integration
• Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and managers
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation
• Support payroll administration and HR reporting
• Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, performance management, and terminations
• Administer benefits programs and support open enrollment processes
• Manage leave administration and employee accommodations
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
• Maintain HR policies, procedures, and training programs
• Partner with leadership on employee engagement, retention, and culture initiatives
