ABRAMS in New York, NY is seeking an HR Generalist to join our People Team. You will handle benefits, payroll support, recruitment, employee relations, engagement, and HR reporting across the employee lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Experience supporting benefits administration, payroll, recruiting, and employee relations.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Benefits Administration: liaison with vendors, enrollments, lifecycle events, and Open Enrollment.
• Talent Acquisition: support full-cycle recruitment and candidate coordination.
• Payroll Support: assist with bi-weekly payroll processing and data accuracy.
• Employee Relations: serve as a first point of contact and issue escalation.
• Employee Engagement: assist with programs, surveys, and events.
• Performance Management & HR Reporting: support annual reviews and HR metrics.
• Onboarding & Offboarding: coordinate processes and IT/facilities setup.
• HR Compliance & Administration: maintain records and ensure legal compliance.
