Tapani is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to source, attract, and hire across apprentices, interns, and professionals for a large-scale construction operation with 700+ employees. The role focuses on building a high-performing team in Battle Ground, WA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of recruiting or HR experience.
• Experience with ATS/HRIS platforms.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage end-to-end recruitment process.
• Apprentice & Intern Programs: Coordinate recruitment and program development.
• Workforce Planning: Forecast staffing needs and develop talent pipelines.
• Candidate Sourcing: Utilize job boards, social media, career fairs, trade schools, and community outreach.
• Employer Branding: Promote the company as an employer of choice in the construction industry.
• Compliance: Ensure recruitment practices comply with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Data & Reporting: Track and report recruiting metrics, trends, and candidate pipeline activity.
• Onboarding Support: Collaborate with HR and training teams to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
• Industry Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with trade schools, apprenticeship programs, workforce development agencies, and professional organizations.
