Job summary

United Staffing Associates is partnering with a family-owned construction company to hire an organized AP/AR Clerk to support accounting and daily operations in a small-office setting.

The role covers full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, month-end close assistance, and general administrative duties. Schedule is Monday–Friday, eight-hour shifts, with full-time, temporary-to-hire employment in California.

Qualifications

• At least three years of AP/AR experience.
• Strong QuickBooks Online or Desktop knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process check runs, vendor invoices, daily cash sales, customer payments, and credit memos.
• Audit and post purchase-order and non-purchase-order invoices.
• Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end closing and reporting.
• Prepare invoices and proposals.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal departments.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and filing systems.
• Provide general administrative and clerical support as needed.
