Responsibilities

• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Process AP/AR functions and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review project billing, retainage, lien waivers, and subcontractor payments.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, budgets and forecasts.

This role will assist with job cost tracking, accounts payable and receivable, weekly payroll, and financial record maintenance using Sage and Excel.

Job Highlights

• 5+ years of accounting experience in construction industry (REQUIRED)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, financial tracking)

Responsibilities

• This role will consist of job cost tracking, accounts payable and receivable, payroll accounting, and financial record maintenance using Sage and Excel
• Handle full-cycle construction accounting, including job costing
• Manage project cost tracking, budget analysis, and variance reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Monitor project billing, retainage, lien waivers, and subcontractor payments
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Coordinate with project managers to review budgets, change orders, and forecasts
• Maintain accurate financial records and organized documentation
• Support cash flow management and financial planning
• Use Microsoft Excel to create and maintain job cost reports and financial spreadsheets
