• AZDOT requires AZPOST Full Authority certifications and meeting minimum peace officer requirements.
• Candidates should have formal training aligned with state and federal motor vehicle enforcement.
• Experience in writing clear reports and testifying in court is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Protect life and property and enforce state/federal laws for commercial traffic.
• Perform vehicle inspections, credential screenings, and routing/fees as applicable.
• Prepare clear written reports and testify when required.
• Maintain firearms certification and operate law enforcement equipment.
