Job summary

Saddle Creek Corporation seeks a Fulfillment Operations Supervisor to lead a 10–12 person team in a Belton, MO warehouse, drive productivity, and ensure safety and quality. The role partners with upper management to achieve operational excellence and exceptional customer service.

The supervisor will coach staff, monitor KPIs, and implement process improvements while maintaining a clean, safe workplace and meeting cost targets.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of previous experience in a leadership role with a track record of implementing and managing change.
  • Listening skills and strong abilities to collaborate, communicate, and motivate others to accomplish goals.
  • Demonstrated success in problem‑solving and decision‑making to overcome obstacles and maximize opportunities.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast‑paced environment while focusing on exceeding operational goals.
  • Strong organization and multi‑tasking skills, agility, and ability to be cross‑trained.
  • Tech‑savvy with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and WMS/OMS.
  • High school diploma is required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure acceptable levels of performance by meeting or exceeding productivity standards and cost control management.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by meeting KPIs (order fill rate accuracy, unannounced inspections, inventory accuracy, etc.).
  • Achieve performance goals through KPI monitoring and LEAN principles; participate in process improvement projects.
  • Maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment while meeting corporate safety goals.
  • Communicate goals, expectations, areas for improvement, and successes to associates.
  • Coach, train, and mentor associates; provide growth opportunities.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews.

Fulfillment Operations Supervisor

Location & Shift

Department: Fulfillment Operations | Location: Belton, MO | Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:00PM – 2:30AM

Overview

The Fulfillment Supervisor leads a team of associates to achieve various goals, including productivity, quality, problem resolution, outstanding customer service, employee relations (motivation and development), and a safe work environment. The Fulfillment Operations Supervisor works closely with upper management to ensure operational excellence and overall facility success.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of 10–12 hourly associates in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
  • Assist the client with the needs and demands of their products.
  • Ensure acceptable levels of performance in the assigned business unit by meeting or exceeding productivity standards and cost control management.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by meeting key performance indicators (order fill rate accuracy, unannounced inspections, inventory accuracy, etc.) in the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Achieve performance goals through KPI monitoring, promote LEAN principles, and be actively involved in process improvement projects.
  • Lead and maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment while meeting or exceeding SCLS corporate safety goals.
  • Effectively communicate goals, expectations, areas for improvement, and successes to associates.
  • Coach, train, and mentor associates, allowing them the opportunity to grow and develop.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews.
