Shift: 7:00 AM-5:30 PM Thursday-Sunday
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of 10-12 hourly associates in a fast-paced warehouse team environment.
- Assist a wide range of clients with the needs and demands of their supply chains.
- Ensure acceptable levels of performance in the assigned business unit by meeting or exceeding productivity standards and cost‑control management.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by meeting key performance indicators (order fill rate accuracy, unannounced inspections, inventory accuracy, etc.) for the assigned area of responsibility.
- Achieve performance goals through KPI monitoring, promote LEAN principles, and process improvement.
- Lead and maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment.
- Meet or exceed SCLS corporate safety goals.
- Effectively communicate goals, expectations, areas for improvement and successes to associates.
- Coach, train, and mentor associates, offering opportunities for growth and development, and conduct annual performance reviews.
Candidate Profile
- 2+ years of previous experience in a leadership role with a track record of implementing and managing change.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to collaborate, communicate, and motivate others to accomplish goals.
- Demonstrated success in problem‑solving and decision‑making to overcome obstacles and maximize opportunities.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast‑paced environment while focusing on exceeding operational goals.
- Strong organization and multi‑tasking skills, agility, and ability to be cross‑trained to perform more when needed.
- Experience working in environments with automation and/or conveyance systems (e.g., conveyor operations, sortation, robotics) preferred.
- High school diploma/GED required.
Additional Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement training and experience.
- Supply chain/logistics experience is a plus, but not required.
- Technical savvy (intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet, web‑based, and job‑specific software applications).
