Job summary

Fashion Nova is seeking a Manager, Strategy & Operations – Fulfillment in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will own strategic DC initiatives from labor models to automation, partnering with DC Operations, Systems Architecture, and Finance to drive cost reduction, throughput gains, and reliability.

You will start hands-on, then build and lead a team as the function scales, delivering measurable improvements in cost, speed, and quality in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in supply chain / fulfillment operations or strategy at a fast-growing ecommerce company.
• Demonstrated ownership of DC or fulfillment initiatives with measurable impact on cost, throughput, and quality.
• Experience with fulfillment systems (WMS, WCS; partner with engineering to improve them).
• Experience leading robotics/automation initiatives from business case to implementation.
• Strong analytical foundation; advanced Excel and PowerPoint; SQL and data visualization experience.

Responsibilities

• Labor optimization across functions to improve productivity and unit economics.
• Lead capacity and throughput planning for the DC; translate forecasts into actionable plans.
• Improve outbound flow (pick, pack, sort, ship) and order-flow prioritization.
• Scope and lead robotics and automation initiatives end-to-end; manage vendor relations.
• Partner with Systems Architecture to optimize fulfillment tech stack; define improvements.
• Drive vendor management and KPI-based performance improvements.
• Improve quality, returns, and inventory-adjacent workflows; reduce defects and cycle time.
• Lead future DC design, capacity modeling, layout, and systems requirements.
• Translate large data sets into actionable recommendations; build dashboards for executives.
