Fernway is seeking a Fulfillment Specialist to handle cannabis order fulfillment for dispensaries across New York. Responsibilities include picking, packing, creating transfer manifests, and delivering products to NY cannabis dispensaries.

The role requires strict adherence to state regulations and secure handling in a warehouse and vault setting. Ideal candidates will have 21+ years old with a valid driver's license, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders on-site Monday–Friday with accuracy and speed.

• Maintain a clean and organized workplace and adhere to safety standards.
• Operate delivery vehicle legally within New York regulations.

Fulfillment Specialist

Compensation: $19.50 / hour

Description

Fernway’s Fulfillment Specialist will be responsible for fulfillment of cannabis orders for dispensaries across the state. This includes document preparation, picking & packing, organization of marketing materials, and delivery of Fernway products to cannabis dispensaries across New York.

Key Responsibilities

• Detailed picking & packing of several orders daily, in accordance with state regulations
• Creation of transfer manifests and issuance of invoices within ERP system
• Correspondence with retail partners regarding delivery documentation
• Preparing & organizing labels of inventory items within secure vault space
• Improving speed & accuracy of fulfillment processes
• Safe and Compliant cannabis delivery as a driver of a delivery vehicle (up to 50%)
• Communicating well with supervisors and other team members
• Maintaining a clean and organized workplace
• Displaying a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to take on additional tasks, such as web-store fulfillments, packaging, warehouse management, etc., on an as-needed basis

Essential Job Functions

• Physically picking and packing orders on-site M-F
• Executing transactions within inventory-management system

• Operating the delivery vehicle in accordance with the laws, ordinances, and regulations of New York

Qualifications & Requirements

• 21+ years old with a valid Driver’s License
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter with a positive attitude
• Familiarity with Metrc (preferred)
• Familiarity with the Google Suite (preferred)
• Enjoys spending time in the car
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb a ladder up and down
• Flexible schedule, with the ability to work overtime when necessary
• Ability to reliably commute and work on-site
• Ability to pass Cannabis regulatory pre-screenings
• Ability to successfully complete all required onboarding trainings
