Fernway in Glendale, AZ seeks an Inventory Specialist to manage daily cannabis inventory counts, receive shipments, and transfer stock between warehouses. Role supports both cannabis and non-cannabis items with precise ERP records.

Full-time, on-site position offering $19.50 per hour. Requires strong attention to detail, safety, and effective communication within an Operations team.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Climb a ladder up to 12’.
• Experience with warehouse equipment (pallet jack, rolling ladder, hand truck, pallet scale).
• Driver’s license valid for state of employment.
• Experience using inventory management software.
• Familiar with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office suite.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Flexible schedule; overtime as needed.
• Able to pass cannabis regulatory prescreening.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments: unload trucks and receive cannabis and non-cannabis items.
• Organize, label and store inventory at multiple warehouses.
• Assist in preparation and breakdown of shipments.
• Execute movement transactions in ERP system.
• Maintain inventory par levels in Excel and update reports.
• Conduct deliveries, cannabis and non-cannabis.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members.
• Take on additional tasks as needed (light maintenance, deliveries/pickups, packaging).

Description

Fernway’s Inventory Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, daily cannabis inventory counts, daily and weekly non-cannabis inventory accounts, receiving shipments and transferring items between warehouses.

Key Responsibilities

• Cycle Counts: Conduct daily counts of cannabis inventory and weekly counts for non-cannabis inventory items, which include merchandise and apparel
• Receive Shipments: Unload trucks and receive both cannabis and non-cannabis material
• Organize, label and put away inventory items at multiple warehouses
• Assist in preparation and breakdown of shipments
• Execute movement transactions and adjustments within ERP system
• Maintain inventory par levels in Excel, update reports to inform management of inventory position, and assist with investigation & resolution of discrepancies
• Conduct deliveries, both cannabis and non-cannabis
• Communicate well with supervisors and team members
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to take on additional tasks such as light warehouse maintenance, deliveries/pickups, packaging, etc., on an as-needed basis
