Fernway is seeking a Logistics Specialist to deliver products to cannabis dispensaries across Illinois from our Rockford, IL location. The role involves loading and unloading, multi-hour state-wide driving, and maintaining vehicle condition while ensuring professional customer service.

Must be 21+, hold a valid IL driver’s license, and pass pre-screening. The job supports on-site work with opportunities to assist in warehouse and inventory tasks as needed.

Compensation: $19.50 / hour

Description

Fernway’s Logistics Specialist will be responsible for delivering Fernway products to cannabis dispensaries across Illinois.

Key Responsibilities

• Load & unload van with delivery orders
• Drive across the state of IL for 6-8+ hours per day
• Ability to drive 200+ miles daily in a safe and responsible manner
• Communicate well with supervisors and other team members
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
• Conduct deliveries professionally and provide strong customer service
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and perform light maintenance on the vans
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to assist with other aspects of the business, including warehouse & inventory management, packaging, etc., on an as-needed basis
• Maintaining delivery manifest google drive

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Must be 21+ years old
• Valid Illinois Driver’s License
• At least 6 months of professional driving experience preferred
• Enjoys spending time in the car
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to relocate to or the ability to reliably commute to Rockford, IL, and ability to work on-site
