Job summary

Cove is seeking an experienced Fulfillment Operations leader in California to own end-to-end in-house fulfillment, from receiving to returns, ensuring on-time shipping and accuracy. You will lead a major facility move, design the new layout, and implement a WMS to replace manual workflows.

In this role, you’ll negotiate with carriers, build KPI dashboards, manage inventory risk, and guide a growing warehouse team.

Experience leading a high-growth distribution operation.
Ability to design and execute a facility move and new site layout.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end fulfillment operations including receiving, putaway, inventory, pick/pack/ship, and returns.
Lead facility moves and design layout, slotting, and workflows for scale.
Select and implement a WMS and related systems to reduce manual workflows.
Negotiate with carriers and vendors for pricing, lead times, and terms.
Build KPI and scorecard framework: on-time ship, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, and more.
Manage inventory risk and peak readiness in collaboration with Merchandising and Finance.
Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to reduce margin leakage.
Develop and maintain operating dashboards for fulfillment, cost, labor, and vendor performance.
Drive continuous improvement across processes and automation.
Build and lead the warehouse team including shift managers and zone leads.
