Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking an Order Processing Lead to guide daily operations in a fast-paced fulfillment environment. You will oversee clerks and associates, manage workflows, and ensure on-time, accurate shipments.

You will act as a subject matter expert on order processing, ERP/WMS systems, and related procedures while training new team members and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This on-site role requires strong leadership and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management or related field.
• Three to five years of experience in order processing, fulfillment, warehousing, manufacturing, distribution, or related environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance and direction to Order Processing Clerks and Fulfillment Associates.
• Coordinate daily workflow priorities to ensure timely and accurate order processing, fulfillment, and shipment activities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for order processing, fulfillment procedures, key cutting operations, and related systems.
• Train and onboard new team members on equipment, systems, quality standards, safety practices, and SOPs.
• Monitor order queues, schedules, and shipping timelines to identify bottlenecks and resolve issues.
• Perform quality audits and verify order accuracy prior to shipment.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate complex concerns to leadership.
• Support inventory verification, cycle counts, and accuracy initiatives.
• Utilize ERP, WMS, and order management systems to monitor workflow and maintain records.
• Assist with tracking and reporting KPIs related to productivity, quality, and service levels.
• Promote a safe, clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process improvements.
