Job summary

Amazon in Massachusetts (Revere) is hiring an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly staff, ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and performance while meeting customer delivery promises. You will oversee shifts, mentor teammates, and coordinate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA and HR to hit business objectives.

Responsibilities include staying adaptable to site variations, managing workloads, and ensuring timely customer orders.

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours.
• Work in environments with varying noise, temperatures, and outdoor loading areas.
• Climb and descend stairs where applicable.
