Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Worcester, MA to lead a team of hourly employees, ensuring safety, quality, attendance and performance across shifts. You will coordinate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, and HR to meet customer delivery promises and maintain overall workflow across first/middle/last mile.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (or 2+ years in Amazon) and a flexible schedule, including weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Valid USA state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
• Work in an environment with variable noise and temperatures
• Climb and descend stairs where applicable
