Job summary

Routeware, Inc. in Portland, OR, is seeking a Fulfillment Support Technician based at the Portland warehouse to configure, test, and ship Routeware devices.

You will work across fulfillment, field service, and support teams, ensuring accurate configuration and timely shipments, with occasional travel to customer sites. The role emphasizes hands-on hardware, troubleshooting, documentation, and adherence to safety and installation standards.

Qualifications

• Experience or aptitude in hardware, electronics, or vehicle tech.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
• Ability to follow diagrams, procedures, and documented processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Configure new devices per customer and internal specs.
• Perform quality-control inspections on configured devices.
• Move devices through configuration, QC, packing, shipping, repair, and return.
• Track work to ensure orders are completed on schedule.
• Prepare shipments with device configuration, burn-in, and packing.
• Help with inventory, order processing, and warehouse tasks.
• Document defects, repair findings, and recurring issues.
• Communicate findings clearly to Engineering, Product, and Support.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites for installations and deployments.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair devices on commercial vehicles.
