Job summary

DoorDash DashMart is hiring for a fast-paced, hands-on role in San Jose. You will receive, stock and manage inventory, pick and pack orders, and ensure clean, safe warehouse operations. You will interact with Dashers and customers through the app, helping to delight and resolve substitutions as needed.

Ideal candidates are dependable team players with strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 18+.
• Experience in retail, customer service or food service preferred.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inventory receiving and management: receive, stock, and rotate inventory, monitor quality, and prevent loss.
• Pick, pack and sort orders using scanning tech and prepare for Dashers.
• Delight customers by communicating clearly via the app when substitutions are needed.
• Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness according to DashMart standards.
• Be a team player, share ideas, and support colleagues.
• Coordinate runners and Dashers to pickup locations and assist with traffic flow.
• Assist in light food preparation and pre-packaging where applicable.
