Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Fulfillment Trainer to support the site leadership team by delivering hands-on training to new hires on daily fulfillment tasks, equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices.

This role also contributes to day-to-day operations when training isn’t in session and requires reliability, punctuality, and a positive, service-oriented attitude. Schedule is Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:30pm; occasional MHE use may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience training in a supply chain, warehousing, or distribution environment preferred.
• Experience operating material handling equipment (MHE) including forklifts and reach trucks.
• Ability to adhere to safety and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on training to new hires for equipment operation, safety, and daily duties.
• Facilitate orientation sessions and safety workshops on MHE and procedures.
• May perform inbound/outbound tasks and operate MHE when not training.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and support team needs.

The Fulfillment Trainer plays a crucial role in assisting the site leadership team by providing comprehensive training to new hires in their daily functional and operational duties. They possess extensive knowledge of all fulfillment environment tasks. In addition to training, the trainer actively contributes to day‑to‑day operations whenever assistance is required.

• Shift: Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:30pm
• Pay starting up to $28.50/hour + shift premium depending on hours worked: (3pm – 11pm + $1.50/hour) and (11pm – 5am + $2.00/hour)

What You’ll Do

• Provide hands‑on training to new hires for equipment operation and certification, optimal business practices, safety procedures, and daily job duties.
• Facilitates classroom training for new hire orientation and safety workshops including Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and functional technique testing.
• May perform inbound or outbound activities when not actively training including operating material handling equipment (MHE) including forklifts, reach trucks or order pickers raised up to 40 feet.
• Adhere to all safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Maintain a secure and clean work area by performing housekeeping duties.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience training in a supply chain, warehousing, or distribution environment strongly preferred.
• Experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including order pickers, forklift, and reach trucks.
• To safely operate the order picker and comply with equipment manufacturer specifications and required safety regulations, there is a weight limit set at 300 pounds. If you are hired to operate this equipment, you will need to weigh under 300lbs.
• Strength to perform physical tasks involving repetitive moving or raising of objects weighing up to 35 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with working in various environmental conditions, such as seasonal heat or cold, and staying in a stationary position for long shifts.
• Punctuality and consistent attendance to help your teammates.
• Positive attitude with a focus on exceptional service.
