Job summary

The State of Colorado is seeking a Fugitive Apprehension Analyst to support investigations by gathering and analyzing offender data. You will share intelligence with CDOC staff and external law enforcement agencies, using criminal justice databases and GIS tools.

You will track offender populations, prepare reports, and assist in major investigations and apprehension operations while collaborating across agencies in a high‑stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Six years of relevant professional experience in criminal justice data analysis or related fields.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize intelligence and offender information.
• Experience with GIS mapping and open-source data for investigations.

Responsibilities

• Provides intelligence and analytical support to DOC and Division of Adult Parole.
• Uses internal systems, public records, and crime bulletins to collect and analyze data.
• Tracks offender populations and shares intelligence with law enforcement per guidelines.
• Compiles intelligence reports and supports investigations and prosecutions.
