Job summary

The Colorado Department of Corrections is seeking a Fugitive Apprehension Analyst in Westminster to collect, analyze, and share offender data, support investigations, and provide intelligence reports using GIS and criminal justice databases.

You will work with parole officers and law enforcement, track offender populations, and deliver timely analyses, dashboards, and plain-language summaries to aid major investigations and proactive safety.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of relevant professional experience in criminal justice data analysis, or education/experience combination aligned with duties.
• Ability to exercise discretion and analyze data from multiple sources to support investigations.
• Strong communication and coordination with law enforcement and parole staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides intelligence and analytical support to DOC and Division of Adult Parole.
• Uses internal systems, criminal justice databases, and open-source data to collect and analyze information.
• Tracks community-supervised offender populations and shares intelligence with law enforcement.
• Disseminates offender demographics, geographic data, and risk levels to external agencies.
• Prepares reports and data analyses for upper management using GIS tools.
