Job summary

State of Florida is seeking a Crime Intelligence Analyst I for the Office of the Inspector General in Central Office. The role analyzes information from multiple agencies, documents confidential data, and disseminates intelligence related to criminal activity.

Requires two years of intelligence/analytic experience and either a high school diploma or an associate’s degree in criminal justice or related field. The position is not a telework role and requires reporting to the designated FDC office.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least two (2) years of experience where your primary function was intelligence, investigations, or analysis and a High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Must possess at least one (1) year of experience where your primary function was intelligence or analysis AND an associate’s degree in criminal justice or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Compiles, analyzes, and disseminates information and intelligence from various agencies, the public, and other sources.
• Requests, receives, analyzes, and documents information of a confidential nature.
• Coordinates inter-state and intra-state information and intelligence pertaining to criminal activity and criminal movement on Department of Corrections property.
• Prepares and completes written reports which are grammatically correct and timely.
