Qualifications

• Six (6) years of relevant professional experience in an occupation directly aligned with the duties assigned to this position, encompassing expertise in criminal justice data analysis, sentence evaluation, program auditing, research methodology, or inter‑agency coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provides intelligence and analytical support to the Department of Corrections (DOC) and Division of Adult Parole.
• Utilizes internal CDOC systems, criminal justice databases, open-source data, public records, crime bulletins, and media reports to collect and analyze data.
• Tracks community-supervised offender populations and shares intelligence per federal guidelines, state statutes, and administrative regulations.
• Disseminates parolee demographics, geographic data, gang affiliations, criminal histories, and risk levels to external law enforcement.
• Compiles and shares intelligence reports on absconders and releasing offenders with law enforcement and parole staff.
• Assists parole officers and law enforcement in identifying suspects using criminal histories, physical identifiers, locations, gang affiliations, and informant data.
• Provides specialized data support, including address searches, moniker lookups, and modus operandi queries.
• Maintains liaisons with professional intelligence organizations like IALEIA.
• Operates with minimal supervision, making rapid, critical decisions using confidential information to support law enforcement investigations and prosecutions.
• Serves as a point of contact with CDOC, federal, state and local law enforcement agencies to ensure strong working relationships and collaboration as well as cross-training on analysis and intelligence functions.
• Provides investigative and analytical support and expertise to specialized units;
• Provides training on the community parole officer caseload routing and mapping system to community parole staff.
• Prepares reports for Division upper management as needed using GIS tools.
