Job summary

Career Opportunities is seeking a Fuels QCSite Superintendent SSHO on-site at Hicham AFB. The role oversees all site work, QA/QC, and safety programs across multiple subcontractors and LAUKOA field personnel, with a focus on productivity and client satisfaction. Travel may be required to manage projects.

Salary range is 100,000–130,000 USD, based on interview and experience. Minimum five years’ DoD fuels construction or QC experience and an active SSHO credential are required, along with OSHA 30

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years’ DoD fuels construction and/or quality control experience on Type III hydrant distribution systems, bulk storage, and ground products systems, and API 653 tank repairs.
• Active CQM certificate with quality control management experience.
• Level One SSHO meeting EM 385-1-1A requirements; OSHA 30-hour certification; Hazwoper 40 hours if SSHO.
• Familiarity with Federal construction processes; strong verbal and written communication; ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute site work, document quality control and safety programs, and improve productivity, client relationships, and safety.
• Supervise craft workers and liaise between home office, field engineering, and trades to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Plan manpower, materials, schedule updates, and equipment; lead onsite meetings and record minutes; maintain daily QC and progress reports.
• Generate RFIs, manage submittals, maintain QC deficiency logs, and ensure on-site documentation and as-built records.
