Job summary

The Tepa Companies are hiring an experienced Site Superintendent/Quality Control Manager (QCM)/Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) to oversee field operations on DoD fuel systems and industrial infrastructure projects across the U.S. You will lead daily activities and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Required are 5+ years in DoD supervision, QCM, and SSHO roles, plus relevant certifications and the ability to travel extensively. Per diem welcomed for eligible traveling staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required for field supervision.
• 5+ years as a DoD Site Superintendent and DoD Construction QCM.
• 3+ years as a DoD SSHO with OSHA safety expertise.
• USACE/NAVFAC CQM certification current within 5 years.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification current.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel across the United States.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily construction activities from mobilization to closeout.
• Supervise craft personnel, subcontractors, and field staff.
• Coordinate field activities to meet milestones and budgets.
• Maintain project docs: reports, logs, schedules, progress.
• Review plans, submittals, and contract requirements for compliance.
• Provide rough-order-cost estimates for field changes.
• Coordinate with PMs, QC, Safety, Eng, and internal teams.
• Serve as field liaison with clients, subcontractors, and regulators.
• Attend project meetings and briefings; identify risk and implement actions.
• Exercise stop-work authority for unsafe conditions or quality issues.
