Accumeasure
Traveling Fuel Technician Trainee

Our Traveling Fuel Technicians help provide services that are designed to maintain our customers’ overall fuel site compliance.

Our technicians are trained on the job to use tools and technology to accurately read meter calibrations for retail petroleum customers.

What You’ll Do:

  2. Perform minor maintenance on fueling systems.
  3. Assist with equipment setup and site preparation.
  4. Drive a company-owned vehicle (CDL not required).

Must be willing to travel in a multi-state area, often being away from home for weeks to months. Extensive travel is required. Hotels and a generous per diem are provided.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive pay: $17.00/hour, with 12-15 hours of overtime per week paid at time and a half (~$25.00/hour).
  • Per diem: $50.00 per day, paid directly into weekly paycheck (not taxed).
  • Opportunities for advancement to a foreman role with increased hourly wages.
Qualifications:
  • Mechanical background, experience with hand tools, trades, or industrial/commercial settings is a plus.
  • Physical ability to lift 10-50 lbs, kneel, bend, reach, and stand.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
  • Basic technology skills for documentation.
  • Ability to pass a company-paid DOT physical and drug screen, with a clean driving record.
Additional Benefits:
  • 10 paid holidays
  • Flexible time off
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • HSA and FSA options
  • Disability and occupational accident insurance
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
