Job summary

Shell Mobility & Convenience - Timewise in Houston, TX is seeking a Fuel Systems Maintenance Manager to ensure uptime and regulatory compliance for dispensing equipment, USTs, and related infrastructure across the retail network.

You will oversee preventive and reactive maintenance, manage technicians and vendors, review performance and costs, and drive safety through HSSE standards and training. Leadership and strategic budgeting are key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, environmental science, or facilities management.
• Five+ years in fuel systems maintenance or related operations.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets > $1 million.
• Experience with Gilbarco, Veeder-Root, Passport, Insite360.
• Strong knowledge of UST systems and environmental rules.
• CMMS and fuel monitoring tech experience.
• Excellent communication, project and vendor negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive and reactive maintenance for fuel systems.
• Coordinate service providers to maximize uptime.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and inspections.
• Analyze costs, labor, and performance for improvements.
• Support capital projects and budgeting for maintenance.
• Lead compliance with federal, state, and local regs.
• Manage emergency response for fuel system incidents.
• Recruit, develop, and supervise Fuel Maintenance Technicians.
• Negotiate service agreements and vendor performance.
