Job summary

Cruitin, LLC. is seeking a Fuel Storage Tank Technician / Fuel Compliance Technician for field roles involving extensive travel and routine maintenance of refueling systems in the petroleum industry.

The technician will ensure regulatory compliance, perform inspections, and coordinate with client personnel onsite. The position emphasizes field-ready problem solving, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work with state requirements for storage and monitoring systems.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive up to 1000 miles a week and conduct daily DVIR inspections.
• Ability to adjust to field conditions and requirements.
• Perform required monitoring certification, secondary containment, spill bucket testing, and vapor recovery testing per state requirements.
• Submittal of daily work order and project paperwork.
• Occasional out of town stay is required.
• Experience with UST/AST monitoring and fuel system maintenance equipment is required.

Job description

Title: Fuel Storage Tank Technician, Fuel Compliance Technician

Location: Houston, TX (must be able to travel up to 1000 miles a week as needed)

Travel: This role requires 75% travel

Compensation: $25-32hr (DOE)

Requirements:

• Ability to drive up to 1000 miles a week and conduct daily DVIR inspections
• Ability to adjust to field conditions and requirements
• Perform required monitoring certification, secondary containment, spill bucket testing, and vapor recovery resting and repairs per state requirements
• Submittal of daily work order and project associates paperwork
• Occasional out of town stay is required
• Experience with UST/AST monitoring and fuel system maintenance equipment is required.

About: Service Technicians maintain and repair all refueling equipment for the petroleum industry, as well commercial and municipal refueling facilities, marinas, and airports. The Technician will ensure that state and local regulatory directives regarding storage and monitoring systems are met. He or she will work closely with client personnel as a company representative, perform maintenance, and troubleshooting without direct supervision. The Service Technician will serve as the eyes and ears of our clients identifying and documenting all compliant and any observed non-compliant issues. This position will provide services in an efficient and timely manner and conduct business in a safe, ethical, and professional manner. Additionally, this position will act as Job Site Safety Officer and implement internal company safety policies at the job site. Must be able to follow instructions and complete assigned jobs timely and safely.
