Job summary

TAIT is seeking a Fuel Systems Technician to perform electrical, construction, maintenance, testing, and repair work on commercial fuel systems in field settings. This role offers a pathway into a Construction Foreman, with travel to sites and opportunities for professional growth.

Required 2–5 years of related commercial electrical experience and knowledge of NEC; licenses/certs are preferred. The position supports a flexible schedule with remote, hybrid, and in‑person options, and includes a

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of related commercial electrical construction, installation, and supervision experience.
• Electrical license/certification preferred; Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of NEC requirements and commercial power distribution, lighting, and low‑voltage systems.
• ICC UST and Veeder Root certifications preferred.
• 24- or 40-hour HAZWOPER certificate or current 8-hour refresher.
• Valid driver’s license; Microsoft Office proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate conduit and wiring for fuel system components and emergency generator equipment.
• Test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair UST/AST systems and related electrical/electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Perform monitoring, secondary containment, spill bucket, and vapor recovery testing.
• Support construction/repair projects and respond to maintenance and service calls.
• Complete daily logs and progress reports; meet project deadlines.
