Job summary

TOOGANN TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a Design Release Engineer responsible for the design, development, APQP, and production release of a fuel system component. You will drive quality improvements, weight reduction, and efficiency initiatives while communicating status to management.

You will collaborate with suppliers, program teams, testing labs, CAE engineers, supplier operations, and manufacturing plants to ensure robust releases and adherence to timelines.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant engineering experience (preferred range discussed was 2–3+ years)
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent)
• Design Release Engineer, Product Engineer, or Component Engineer experience (not primarily CAD/design-focused roles)
• Experience with fuel systems, preferably
• Understanding of APQP processes
• Experience supporting product validation activities (DVP&R exposure preferred)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with suppliers, manufacturing, validation labs, program teams, and quality organizations
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required

Responsibilities

• Design, development, APQP, and production release of a system/component within Fuels Systems: Fuel/Urea tanks and fuel/urea delivery modules.
• Lead quality improvements, value optimization, weight reduction, and efficiency initiatives.
• Communicate technical product status to management.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal/external groups (program teams, testing labs, CAE, supplier operations, manufacturing plants).
