Job summary

Great Lakes Petroleum is seeking a qualified dispatch supervisor to oversee fuel truck drivers and ensure safe, efficient deliveries in the Rock Hill, SC area. You will manage driver rosters, routes, and timekeeping while coordinating with drivers to resolve delivery issues.

The role requires familiarity with DOT regulations and strong customer service skills, with weekend/evening availability expected. A proactive approach to scheduling and communication will be essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Available to take calls on weekends and evenings.
• 2–3 years of fuel dispatch experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an up-to-date listing of assigned drivers
• Ensure access to an up-to-date route sheet for each scheduled route
• Cover routes with relief or substitute drivers as needed
• Maintain an accurate daily attendance roster of drivers
• Demonstrate knowledge of DOT regulations
• Oversee transportation of fuel, inventory levels, daily pricing, warehousing, deliveries, and route planning
• Ensure drivers clock times accurately and reflect any write-in time on daily reports
• Coordinate with drivers to resolve issues during delivery
• Perform clerical support duties as assigned
