Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be available to take calls on weekends and evenings.
• Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in previous fuel dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Maintains an up-to-date listing of assigned drivers.
• Ensures access to an up-to-date route sheet for each scheduled route.
• Ensures that each scheduled route is appropriately covered by utilizing available relief or substitute drivers.
• Maintains an accurate daily attendance roster of drivers.
• Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Oversee transportation of fuel, inventory levels, daily pricing, market movement, warehousing, deliveries, reloading with minimal downtime and efficient route planning.
• Ensures that drivers clock their times accurately and that any write-in time is accurately reflected on the daily report.
• Coordinates with drivers to resolve any issues, problems, or concerns that arise during delivery.
• Perform a variety of clerical support duties as assigned.
