Job summary

Great Lakes Petroleum in Gastonia, NC is seeking a Dispatch Supervisor to oversee Fuel Truck Drivers, ensure safety, reliability, and timely deliveries to customers.

You'll maintain driver rosters, coordinate routes, and ensure DOT compliance while delivering strong customer service and managing daily operations. Weekend/evening availability and 2–3 years fuel dispatch experience are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Available to take calls on weekends and evenings.
• 2–3 years of experience in fuel dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an up-to-date listing of assigned drivers.
• Ensure route sheets are current for each schedule.
• Cover routes with relief/substitute drivers as needed.
• Maintain daily attendance roster of drivers.
• Apply DOT regulations knowledge to operations.
• Oversee fuel transport, inventory, pricing, warehousing, deliveries, and routing.
• Ensure accurate clock-in times reflected in daily reports.
• Coordinate with drivers to resolve issues during delivery.
• Perform clerical support duties as assigned.
