The position is full-time with night shifts and 12-hour shifts. You will manage routes, communicate with drivers, and ensure DOT and safety compliance while optimizing efficiency.

Responsibilities

Elite Fuel Transportation, Inc is seeking an experienced and highly organized Fuel Logistics Coordinator to join our growing operations team. This role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely coordination of fuel deliveries across our transportation network. The ideal candidate will bring strong dispatching experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. This position is critical in ensuring uninterrupted fuel supply while maintaining strong relationships with drivers, customers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the safe, timely, and cost-effective transportation of fuel products.
• Develop and manage daily delivery routes while maintaining constant communication with drivers throughout the day.
• Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS), including Creative Energies, and real-time tracking tools to plan loads, optimize routes, and monitor shipments.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing dispatch support and resolving issues in real time.
• Collaborate with management to adjust routes based on customer needs, demand changes, and operational priorities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with drivers, customers, terminals, and internal teams.
• Monitor fuel inventory and assist with load planning and balancing when required.
• Track, verify, and maintain accurate operational data and documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with DOT, HAZMAT, environmental, and company safety regulations.
• Monitor carrier performance, transportation costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve efficiency.
• Proactively manage disruptions, peak demand periods, and emergency situations to maintain service continuity.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with drivers and customers to support smooth operations and reduce stress from last-minute changes.

Work Environment & Schedule

This is a hands-on transportation operations position in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as operational needs require.

Schedule

Full-Time | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts

Training Schedule

5 days per week, 12-hour shifts during the training period.

Regular Schedule After Training

4 days per week, 12-hour shifts (4/12 schedule).

Current Night Shift Openings

5:00 PM–5:00 AM and 8:00 PM–8:00 AM

Assigned workdays will vary based on operational coverage and may include weekends and holidays. 40+ hours per week; overtime may be required based on operational needs.
