Job summary

Elite Fuel Transportation, Inc. is seeking an experienced Fuel Logistics Coordinator to lead fuel deliveries across our network. The role requires strong dispatching, excellent communication, and the ability to perform under pressure in Riverside, CA.

The position is full-time with night shifts and 12-hour shifts. You will manage routes, communicate with drivers, and ensure DOT and safety compliance while optimizing efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating transportation operations and dispatch.
• Strong communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems and real-time tracking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safe, timely, and cost-effective fuel transportation.
• Plan daily routes and communicate with drivers throughout the day.
• Use TMS (Creative Energies) and real-time tracking to plan loads and monitor shipments.
• Be primary contact for drivers, providing dispatch support and resolving issues.
• Adjust routes with management based on demand and priorities.
• Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, terminals, and teams.
• Monitor inventory and assist with load planning when needed.
• Maintain accurate data and documentation.
• Ensure DOT/HAZMAT/environmental/safety compliance.
• Monitor carrier performance, costs, and KPIs to improve efficiency.
• Manage disruptions and peak periods to maintain service continuity.
• Build strong relationships with drivers and customers to ease last-minute changes.
