Job summary

Delta 360 is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Baton Rouge, LA to manage transportation, delivery, and distribution of fuel products. You will coordinate routes, monitor shipments, and maintain compliant operations while supporting customer service and sales teams.

The role requires 3+ years in logistics, knowledge of DOT regulations, and proficiency with logistics software and GPS tracking. On-site position with weekend availability for peak periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in logistics, supply chain management or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management, preferably in fuel or related field.
• Familiarity with fuel/oil products, transportation logistics, and related regulations.
• Knowledge of safety standards, DOT/Environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in logistics software and tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate fuel/oil deliveries; schedule and arrange deliveries with drivers and terminals.
• Track inventory levels at storage sites and ensure supply meets demand.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and transportation regulations including DOT/HOS/ELOGS.
• Monitor shipments using GPS and logistics software; communicate with drivers to prevent delays.
• Provide customer service and sales support; confirm orders and delivery windows.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory, and discrepancies; evaluate driver performance.
