Job summary

SPL is seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician to join our fuels testing laboratory team in Coppell, TX. In this full-time role, you will perform ASTM and API analytical testing on a wide range of petroleum and fuel products including gasoline and diesel.

Your responsibilities will include operating laboratory instrumentation, ensuring data accuracy within the LIMS, and supporting quality assurance programs. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or equivalent hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related scientific field required.
• Previous hands-on analytical laboratory experience strongly preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation and analytical testing on petroleum and fuel products.
• Conduct routine fuel analysis including various quality testing.
• Record, review, and validate analytical data within LIMS.

Skills

Hands-on analytical laboratory experience

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office

Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)

Education
