HF Sinclair in Sinclair, WY is seeking a Lab Technician to perform physical and chemical testing on refinery process streams and quality control samples. You will certify finished fuels per ASTM specs and perform routine analysis using established methods.

The role requires accurate data entry, proficiency with LIMS, and the ability to read procedures in English. Expect work around lab instrumentation with safety and quality compliance, plus flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required;Bachelor's degree in Chemistry preferred
• Proficiency with spreadsheet and word-processing software
• Ability to read and understand ASTM methods and laboratory procedures
• Professional data entry and lab record-keeping skills
• Competency with lab instrumentation and measurement accuracy

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical and chemical testing on refinery process streams and samples
• Enter lab results accurately and promptly into the system
• Maintain proficiency with LIMS for sample login and charting
• Ensure safety and quality standards per procedures and policies
• Work rotating shifts and handle hazardous materials with care
