Job summary

HF Sinclair Corporation is seeking a Lab Technician to perform physical and chemical testing on refinery process streams and laboratory quality control samples. This role focuses on certifying finished fuel to ASTM standards and routine analysis of hydrocarbon and aqueous samples.

You will enter data accurately in the LIMS system, assist in analyses, and adhere to safety and quality requirements while working with precision instruments. Flexibility for rotating shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with spreadsheet/word-processing applications.
• Read and understand analysis procedures and safety standards in English including ASTM methods.

Responsibilities

• Enter lab results accurately and promptly.
• Login samples in LIMS, chart SQC data.
• Follow procedures and safety standards; work with lab equipment.
• Perform or assist in analyses as directed by Lab Manager or Supervisors.
• Participate in proficiency testing per standards and good lab practices.
• Work with sensitive lab instrumentation and prepare chemical solutions.
