Job summary

Great Lakes Petroleum Co. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Fuel Dispatch Supervisor to oversee truck drivers, optimize routes, and ensure safe, compliant deliveries.

You will maintain driver rosters, ensure route sheets are current, cover routes with relief drivers, and monitor attendance, clocking, and reports.

Requirements include strong communication, weekend/evening availability, and 2–3 years of fuel dispatch experience; a full benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Available to take calls on weekends and evenings.
• 2–3 years of experience in fuel dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date listing of assigned drivers.
• Ensure access to current route sheets for each scheduled route.
• Cover scheduled routes with relief or substitute drivers.
• Maintain an accurate daily attendance roster of drivers.
• Demonstrate knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Oversee transportation, inventory, pricing, warehousing, and route planning with minimal downtime.
• Ensure drivers clock times accurately and reflect write-ins on daily reports.
• Coordinate with drivers to resolve issues during delivery.
• Perform clerical support duties as assigned.
