Job summary

Southern States Cooperative, Inc. (SSC) seeks Petroleum Drivers to deliver fuel products to customers, load and unload, and may install equipment on-site according to orders and safety procedures.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, CDL (Class B or A), HazMat and Tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain), and at least two years’ petroleum delivery experience. Flexibility for on-site work and safety adherence is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Requires Commercial Driver's License (Class B or Class A).
• Hazardous Materials Endorsement (or ability to obtain).
• Tank Endorsement (or ability to obtain).
• Petroleum and/or Propane Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum of two years of experience delivering petroleum products and installing/maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fuel products to customers following orders and schedules.
• Load and unload goods and equipment using proper handling techniques.
• Maintain daily logs, reports, and vehicle/equipment maintenance records.
• Inspect and install or service fuel equipment at customer sites as needed.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and SSC safety policies.
• Coordinate with supervisor to plan deliveries and respond to account needs.
