Job summary

Southern States Cooperative, Inc. (SSC) seeks a Petroleum Driver to deliver heating oil, kerosene, diesel and gasoline to customer sites. You will load, unload and install related equipment and follow SSC procedures and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities include planning deliveries, maintaining logs, performing basic maintenance, and complying with safety standards while supporting on-site equipment installations as needed. A valid CDL and required endorsements are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred experience operating a commercial motor vehicle to deliver fuel products.
• Must have a CDL (Class A or B) and hazardous materials/tanker endorsements.
• Hazardous materials and tanker endorsements or ability to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Operate SSC commercial motor vehicles to deliver fuel products to customers.
• Load, unload, and install related equipment at customer sites.
• Plan delivery routes and maintain accurate logs and records.
• Maintain safety and comply with DOT and SSC procedures.
• Interact professionally with customers and conduct payments as needed.
