Job summary

Sunrise Cooperative, Inc. is seeking an Energy Driver to safely transport and deliver propane and liquid fuels to residential, commercial, and agricultural customers while maintaining equipment and adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading, operating bobtail or tanker trucks, recording readings, and providing outstanding service. A Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement is required within 6 months of hire, plus the ability to lift 50 pounds and work

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Must have or obtain a Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement within 6 months of hire date.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete documentation.
• Willingness to work overtime during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, and deliver propane and liquid fuels to customer locations.
• Operate delivery trucks in compliance with DOT, OSHA and safety standards.
• Attach hoses, ground tanks, and follow safety protocols to prevent spills.
• Inspect propane systems, monitor gauges, valves and tank levels.
• Maintain daily driver’s reports and complete paperwork accurately.
• Keep vehicles and work areas clean and adhere to safety policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote company objectives.
• Assist in repairs of facilities and equipment as needed.
• Overtime may be required during busy times.
