Job summary

Kroger in Alaska is seeking staff to assist customers at the fuel center, manage cash register operations, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards. You will respond to incidents, fill out reports, and support company initiatives while delivering first-rate service to customers.

Responsibilities include pumping gas, daily inspections, incident reporting, spill cleanup, stock recovery, cashier duties, phone duties, and adherence to policies.

• Pump gas
• Complete daily tour and inspection
• Fill out incident and security reports
• Clean up fuel spills and complete Fuel Spill Report
• Recover displays; maintain cleanliness of department
• Perform cashier functions
• Answer telephones
• Comply with corporate policies
• Comply with all safety guidelines and standards
• Promote and follow company initiatives
• Maintain knowledge of emergency plans numbers and procedures
• Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
• Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
