Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Customer Service Associate to assist customers, operate the register, and maintain the fuel center area. Responsibilities include pumping gas, completing daily inspections, handling incident reports, and ensuring safety and cleanliness.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and adherence to company policies. Candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to manage conflicts professionally while delivering excellent service to customers of the fuel

Responsibilities

• Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
• Pump gas
• Complete daily tour and inspection
• Fill out incident and security reports
• Clean up fuel spills and complete Fuel Spill Report
• Recover displays; maintain cleanliness of department
• Perform cashier functions
• Answer telephones
• Comply with corporate policies
• Comply with all safety guidelines and standards
• Promote and follow company initiatives
• Maintain knowledge of emergency plans numbers and procedures
• Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
• Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues
