Job summary

Telecon is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee FTTH field operations. You will coordinate field teams, manage budgets, and ensure client specifications are met while driving timely billing and safety compliance.

The role requires at least 5 years in telecom/construction with supervisory experience and strong communication skills. This hybrid position offers growth opportunities and a competitive wage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in telecommunications or utility construction.
• 2+ years supervisory experience, FTTH preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret utility plans, drawings, and contracts.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder influence skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field crews and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
• Plan, assign, and coordinate work across field teams.
• Monitor project budgets and maintain financial targets.
• Ensure timely billing and document field changes.
• Travel between sites to monitor progress and timelines.
• Enforce health and safety policies and train field staff.
• Communicate with clients, municipalities, and stakeholders to move projects forward.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and quality standards.
