Job summary

Intrepid Fiber seeks a seasoned pre-construction and market-launch leader to drive FTTH deployments in new markets. You will oversee estimating, design, engineering, and permitting to deliver construction-ready programs for execution.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in telecom/OSP, strong project management and vendor coordination experience, and a track record of on-time, on-budget delivery. Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training, certifications, or relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of Telecom, utility infrastructure, engineering and construction experience in ISP/OSP.
• Experience with FTTH planning, estimating, permitting, and ROW coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction planning and market launch for FTTH deployments in new and emerging markets.
• Develop cost models and establish capital plan and unit-cost baselines.
• Own municipal permitting, right-of-way coordination, and franchise agreements; coordinate with utilities and jurisdictions.
• Lead RFP processes for contractors, engineering firms, and material suppliers; define SOWs and terms.
• Ensure on-time delivery of projects to scope, budget, and milestones; handoff to construction team.
• Codify a repeatable market-launch playbook for faster future market mobilization.
