Job summary

Lansing Community College seeks a FT Support – K-12 Operations Lead to assist the Director of K-12 Operations in program operations for high school Dual Credit programs and Scholarships. Regular on-campus presence is expected; hybrid arrangements may be approved by the College.

Role involves event planning, data collection and reporting, and using college systems and procedures to solve problems while coordinating internal/external communications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Significant experience in office coordination, budget monitoring and/or event planning.
• Experience gathering data and creating reports.
• Computer software training or experience in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook).
• Demonstrated customer service experience and ability to create professional correspondences.

This position assists the Director of K-12 Operations and the Department in program operations for all high school Dual Credit programming (High School Advantage, CTE Direct Credit, Early Middle College) and Scholarship programs. This includes but not limited to: event planning, creating external and internal correspondence, data collection and reporting, and using college systems, policies, and procedures to solve problems.

Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

LCC policy requires all LCC employees to be residents of the State of Michigan and to perform all work (with limited exceptions) within the State of Michigan.

Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process.

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience performing business and organizational support functions to include: office management, budget monitoring, event planning, and organization.
• Associate’s Degree.
