The City of Celina is seeking a Parks Maintenance Worker to maintain parks, athletic fields, recreation areas, ponds, and landscaping across city properties. The role may include event setup and cleanup, weather hazard prevention, and responding to maintenance needs, with a four-day workweek and a telework option for eligible positions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background investigation and MVR check.
• Must possess valid class C driver’s license.

As the Parks Maintenance Worker, you will: assist in all of the maintenance of the parks, athletic fields, recreation areas, ponds and landscaping for various areas of the city. Special tasks such as event setup and cleanup or emergency situation response such as weather hazard prevention may be part of the duties of the Maintenance Worker as well.

The City of Celina operates on a 4-day work week.
